Welcome !

Boy Scout Troop 411 is the local branch of the scouts serving Carnation and Duvall. Our scouts attended Cherry Valley, Stillwater, and Carnation Elementary schools, and their service projects occur all up and down the Snoqualmie Valley. We are chartered by the American Legion - Lower Snoqualmie Valley Post 199. The boy run troop meets every Monday night and serves boys between the ages of 11 and 17. Scouts attend hikes, camping events, high adventure trips and summer camps. Along the way they may travel to the Bahamas’, Russia, Washington D.C. or anywhere else in the world their ambitions take them. They learn traditional skills like knot tying, outdoor cooking, shotgun, rifle and arrow shooting as well as newer skills involving computers and the internet.

The 2014 edition of the Welcome Guidebook has been uploaded to the "Files" link on the left side of the troop website. This document include the troop Policies and Procedures as well as answers to commonly asked questions.

New Eagle Scout

Congratulations to Torin Bergsma, Troop 411's newest Eagle Scout.

Torin aged out in November, passed his Eagle Board of Review on December 17, and has already submitted his application to be an Adult Scouter.

Merit Badge Weekend opportunity

North Lakes & Sammamish Trails Merit Badge Weekend at Camp Pigott will be held on October 11-13. Troop 411 will not be attending but individual Scouts can register. Fees and transportation are up to the Scout & his family.

Court of Honor deadline

The deadline for the October 14th Court of Honor is Monday, October 7th. This the last date to submit blue cards or to have a Board of Review.

Personal Management MB

So far no one is registered for this Eagle Required merit badge. Any Scout who is 1st Class, Star, or Life AND who doesn't yet have this merit badge should register. If you have already started this MB, contact Mr. Flowers for ideas about how to complete it.
