Welcome !

Boy Scout Troop 411 is the local branch of the scouts serving Carnation and Duvall. Our scouts attended Cherry Valley, Stillwater, and Carnation Elementary schools, and their service projects occur all up and down the Snoqualmie Valley. We are chartered by the American Legion - Lower Snoqualmie Valley Post 199. The boy run troop meets every Monday night and serves boys between the ages of 11 and 17. Scouts attend hikes, camping events, high adventure trips and summer camps. Along the way they may travel to the Bahamas’, Russia, Washington D.C. or anywhere else in the world their ambitions take them. They learn traditional skills like knot tying, outdoor cooking, shotgun, rifle and arrow shooting as well as newer skills involving computers and the internet.

Summer Camp Merit Badges

Posted on Jul 18 2014 - 12:08am

Attached are two pdf documents that outline the advancement and merit badge opportunities at Camp Meriwether.  We will sign up for merit badges when we get to camp, but I think it would be a good idea to review what is available and start thinking about what you would like to take.  I have provided an outline below:

Merit Badges are offered during 1 hour or 1.5 hour sessions M-F from 9:00am-12:00.  Some merit badges are offered during Open Program time each day from 2:00-5:00.

MERIT BADGES DETAIL pdf

Page 1: Trail to First Class, Totin' Chip and Firem'n chit

Pages 2 thru 8: These pages are organized by areas of camp where the merit badges will be offered.  Each area of camp has merit badges available and they are listed on these pages.  It will also mention if the merit badge can be completed at camp or whether some requirements will need to be completed at home.  Each area will also list activities that are available during the Open Program times each day.

Page 8 (bottom half) and Page 9 (upper half):  This describes some of the high adventure options that are available.

Page 9 (bottom half): This describes the Campwide Activities during the week.
